When to consider a fleet controlling system
- I always want to know where all vehicles and/or machines are located and what is going on with them – driving, break, rest, breakdown, etc. linked with information on time (how long it took) and a calculation of how much working time is left and how much required rest the driver has taken.
- I want to have one system all-in-one for ordering, planning, monitoring, communication, control and evaluation with the option of prompt reaction to the current situation on the road.
- I want electronic records on all duration of journeys, journey record book, per diem calculation for drivers and other records needed for administration work.
- I want to plan and optimalise routes as effectively as possible with regard to different parametres (distance, consumption, destination points, drivers‘ working times, etc.).
- I want navigation to destination via best routes with notification of transit points (customs, tolls, etc.) as well as notification for dispatcher when there is an unplanned change.
- I want smooth movement of vehicles in time and space – when one order is completed, no time, money or driving is wasted before another order is taken on.
- I want to utilise capacity of all vehicles during all journeys (where, when and what to load and unload to keep the vehicle working).
- I want to decrease fuel consumption (calculation of best routes) and prevent fuel losses and theft.
- I want to be in contact with drivers via online chat with the opportunity to write simple text messages on a large touch screen.
- I need an intuitive system that is easy to use and does not disturb the driver.
- I want a warning in case of non-standard or dangerous situations.
- I want my customer to know where his goods are and how close his order is to completion – via a web application.
- I want to control all important duties related to my fleet of vehicles - technical inspections, certificates, trainings, permissions, etc. - along with deadline notifications.
- I want to have contact with my fleet of vehicles throughout Europe.
- I want all this information and contacts available all the time, online and in real time.
