Who stands behind the company

Mikuláš Szapu sr. founded YMS a year after the fall of the communist regime, in October 1990. He worked in the energy sector and understood the challenges that companies taking care of technically complex and spatially scattered equipment faced. The idea to map all equipment electronically proved to be a good one and presently the company is celebrating its 20th birthday. Martin Bachorík took over the position of Managing Director from Mikulas Szapu jr. and had thus cut the twenty-year family tie between he company and its management. Radoslav Béreš has been loyal to YMS since 1997 and participated in most of its large projects. As Technical Director he oversaw technological development of solutions for the company's key areas. In 2008 he became Business Development Director for Utility and since then he has been setting the direction of the division for the gas and energy industry.
