A commercial TIS system for eustream
During last September, eustream, a.s., a joint-stock company, started to use a sub-system of the TIS Technical Information System primarily designed for commercial dispatching.
This solution, with a project name TIS Dispatcher, is to help operators to handle increasing number of customers, contracts and reported accidents for the gas transportation through the eustream, a.s. network. In its current version, the system can, in automated way, read necessary data from various sources, present them in a unified form and to provide a set of controls to make operators' work simpler and more effective. Another expansion lies in an adding of a complete administration of customers and administrative section for the publishing of new – especially operating data in the web part. From legislation point of view, the system has made a significant step forward.
Thus, the Internet users of the TIS have acquired new information, the commercial dispatching operators have gotten a new system, which will be a solid support for their work, and the creators of the system have new incentives to broaden the system that laid a quality and universal foundations for its further development.
Eustream, a.s, thanks to TIS Dispatcher, can manage deals with capacities of natural gas transported through the territory of the Slovak Republic and to exchange necessary business information with the systems of surrounding countries, primarily with Russia, Ukraine, the Czech Republic and Austria.
