Development platforms
We seek a vendor able of delivering an information system solution meeting our requirements. What development platforms do you employ in your solutions?
In the area of development we are focused on technical information systems for document management, geoinformation systems, spatial analysis support systems, as well as specific systems pursuant to customer orders and specifications (technological graph representation, special browsers for various graphical formats, spatial analysis tools, 3D geospatial data visualization, pipeline anticorrosion protection and security etc.).
Our principal development platform is Microsoft .NET where we develop applications run in intranet environment, web-based services, as well as desktop applications. Our older solutions employed Visual Basic and C++, but today we have practically all our solutions transformed to newer platforms.
In addition to the above mentioned solution, we also offer an alternative of our yGate based on Oracle Portal.
However, we are able of customizing our solutions to customer requirements, and implement projects also in Java environment, namely J2EE where we prefer IBM WebSphere and Oracle Application Server.
As regards database platforms, we use primarily Oracle Database Server as its Spatial / Locator superstructures provide ideal environment for any graphical information system. However, we have also successfully implemented solutions for Microsoft SQL Server, IBM DB2, or more simple Microsoft Access systems for some of our customers.
