Earth is releasing its treasures

Following the model from Czech Republic, long-term efforts of geologists are getting closer to the public eye. Website www.geology.sk is supplemented by two new sections – Map Server and Digital Archive. First one represents an interface for map servers, where are situated geological maps in different perspectives – depending not only on relation to a scale, but also on content of data. More competent and experienced people will be surely attracted by cartographical processing of maps and also their content is not insignificant – geological and hydrological maps should be continually complemented by information from point of view of engineering geology, palaeontology or raw material resources.

To comment the second section, we can proudly say – it’s our work. Solution yPapers (WebCM) from the kitchen of YMS Group has been successfully launched to the wild internet waters and will be used by the wide public as well as by specialised geological professionals.
