ECM for SPP in full swing

The company YMS, a. s., a member of the YMS & GCWare Group, started to work on a project of digital archiving of technical documentation in the second quarter of this year. The first part of the project is already in full swing; YMS is intensively developing new working practices in accordance with SPP specifications, which allows better handling of documents, their more accurate search, editing and viewing. The solution is built on the basis of proven technology of IBM Content Manager, with its own client for data management.

One of the components of this client is also the universal document viewer AutoVue, which can display up to 2000 types of document formats. The client will also be able to manage reservations of documents, monitor versions and use of watermarks for printing. Full access to support depending upon rights is a certainty and also the support of work processes has not been omitted.
