Eustream manages mobile workforce with yForce

Eustream is the Slovak gas transit pipeline operator that has just began to use a modern system designed to manage mobile workforce. teréne – yForce from YMS. In its final form this system will manage forty mobile teams working on repairs and maintenance of pipelines in all locations of the Slovak gas transit network.

YMS has begun implementing the yForce system in Eustream in October 2009. This process began with a thorough analysis of activities, that the system will solve. A configuration according to the companys needs and integration with the company SAP system followed. The implementation phase was finished by a two-month pilot operation linked with system testing.

yForce monitors the movement and operation of mobile teams using a dispatcher application. Dispatchers plan and oversee their activities using a digital screen and a conscise, MS Outlook-type of calendar. Workers in the field use tough mobile devices with which they collect data in the field, accept and report tasks, take pictures and audio and navigate themselves to next destinations.

yForce enables the company not only to monitor, plan and instantly communicate with mobile teams, but also to analyse in detail their field activities, control associated costs and decrease their administrative load. In the long term, yForce enables higher effiiency of work in the field and better customer service.
