Nafta, a. s., Gbely, Slovakia is engaged in mining operations, minerals beds localization and exploration, hydrocarbon opening, preparation and mining, its adjustment and enrichment. Designing and warehouse of hydrocarbons and waste in underground and surface spaces.
Business Need/Reason
The company struggled with uncoordinated data input which haven’t been put into systems, not using added value. Problem was also differences in data saving, duplicities, individuality of IT solutions and work support only in one department without contact to other departments.
Solution Overview
Integrated Technical Information System (ITIS) implementation project provides to its users possibility to gain complex information concerning searched object by on-line connection between individual subsystems and direct data interconnection from operation system.
Results
System supported unification of communication by means of internet, established unified central data warehouse and thereby together with definition of user’s rights ensured database consistency without duplicity for natural gas warehouses as well as for respective line constructions.
