Nafta a.s. with electronic dispatcher centre from YMS

NAFTA, the largest gas storage company in Slovakia, operating underground gas storage compressors, will build an electronic trade dispatcher centre with the Slovak software provider, YMS. NAFTA selected YMS from competition of four other international companies. YMS won thanks to twenty years of experience in building gas information systems and a modern trade information system yCapacity, which has been, for the past several years, succesfully used by the Slovak gas transmission company, eustream.

The trade information system yCapacity will modernise the work of trade dispatchers and imrove customer service of NAFTA.

Using the modern trade application, yCapacity, dispatchers satisfy the requirements of a large number of clients fast and accurately. The system will make the work on trade contracts electronic, will monitor storage capacities and automate a lot of processes. The system publishes necessary information automatically and shares them with international systems in accordance with Slovak ad EU legislation. yCapacity will make the daily work of dispatchers easier and allow NAFTA to use the underground gas storage facilities to their maximum capacity.

Via the yCapacity public portal, NAFTA clients will have instant access to general trade information. Clients will be able to put in their trade requirements and calculate the price of gas storage online using a price calculator. The clients zone of the yCapacity public portal will contain password access to personal client accounts, through which the clients will be able to make new short-term contracts based on existing framework agreements.
