The problem was in the need to make transparent system of participant inquire, to make access to information easier for them, news, to help orient themselves quicker in space and to propose them possibility of getting more supplementary services.
Solution Overview
Location Based service as proposed, paid service by mobile operator /by MMS, SMS, WAP WEB forms/ brings information about happening at festival: program, information about performers, news, but first of all map service of a type “where a stage is situated” and “how do I get there”.
Results
Solution has enabled festival visitor to find out with the help of mobile phone not only actual information about festival happening, festival program but also to let to navigate oneself to assigned place (stage, hotel, and etc.): turn-by-turn navigation with map background. The map background enabled navigation also for pedestrians, including use of mass transportation.
