Spatial mapping of Gas Pipelines
YMS, a. s., member of YMS & GCWare Group, has realized a project of 3D mapping of gas pipelines in the Compressor Station of Veľké Zlievce, Slovakia. The following companies were cooperating: GEODIS s. r. o., SCHUCK SLOVENSKO s. r. o. and Sigeo.
The project was realized for SPP-preprava, a. s., which is an operator in the corridor of high pressure transport gas pipelines in Slovakia. The attention was focused on a complex determination of underground and overground gas pipelines development and technological objects located in the area of the Compressor Station. The transport set itself is equipped with four Compressor Stations which provide gas compression during its transport. Nowadays, 3D model and GIS solution of two compressor stations are available, and processing of another one is planned by the year 2007. Apart from the spatial model itself, the key asset of the project is a precise delineation of gas pipelines and technological units in the Compressor Station, which facilitates planning and realization of reparations in this area.
