TIS Dispatcher for eustream, a.s., Bratislava, Slovakia

Extending TIS solution by business dispatching module – TIS Dispatcher

Customer

In its name, the company eustream, a.s. reflects the main line of business which includes international transport of natural gas that is securing continuous natural gas flow to European markets. In addition to natural gas transport, the company is engaged in operation and maintenance of compression plants and line parts of transport gas conduits through four areas (Veľké Kapušany, Jablonov nad Turňou, Veľké Zlievce and Ivanka pri Nitre).

Need

Natural gas is transported through the territory of the Slovak Republic daily thus it is necessary to solve commercial provision of this transport. There are no standards defined for customer and TSO (Transmission System Operator) communication so it was necessary to establish a system, which would be able to unite communication interfaces and help dispatchers to response in short time intervals to nominations of volumes of natural gas transported by eustream, a.s. customers.

Solution

TIS System consists of the web application available for general public and TIS project Stage II supplemented with business dispatching module. This module automatically integrates data of eustream, a.s. customers, neighbouring state TSO (Transmission System Operator) and technical dispatching. The integration makes collected data better-arranged by their display in one view. Other important function of the dispatching module includes automation of several operational tasks, such as formal content check, data check against predefined values or automatic responses to received mails containing specifically marked data in variance with values defined by the dispatcher.

Result

TIS System extended by business dispatching module helps operators to process data in short periods of time; automated checks disburden them from operational tasks and creation of structured data base enables release of information such as overview of values nominated by the customer, state of its imbalance account or aggregated value of the physical flow in the TIS web application, and this way requirements resulting from valid legislation are met.
